Hello 2022
The new year started off just right and I became an aunty! My cousin was a rockstar and brought a beautiful baby boy into this world and he is freaking precious.
Arihia and I took a moment to appreciate the sunset one night while we were out running errands. So very grateful for God's creations and the pretty skies.
Anya-Lei was in town, and it was truly the greatest getting to spend some time with her! She is the cutest ever when she wasn't being a little brat hehe.
We had lots of cousin time!! Which was the best. One Sunday, we had lunch together and then relaxed outside. It was a sunny day, and we kind of just sat out and kept each other company. Such nice times being together.
I love this shot of these two sweeties. |
We love our Anya-Lei. |
Kaliya girl appreciation hehe! So the day we took this pic, we all kind of realized how much I tell Kaliya and how much she knows about my life ha! Which is so funny to me, because even with the age difference she is still one of my homie girls and I am grateful for the cute relationship we have hehe.
Emma and Malachi has plans to go to Piha beach up in Auckland and were so kind to invite Kara and I along. I had never been to that beach before and it was so dang pretty! We went to watch the sun set and then we had some dinner together. Was such a fun time!
Spent lots of time with Aunty Dina Marie while she was in town! That was quite lovely, just because I enjoyed chatting with her about random stuff and it was also really nice having her and her family's company. This was one day where her, Kaliya, and I went for a wee hold out to get a real fruit ice cream hehe.
Emma, Arihia, and Tia came over for a wee hang and catch up one night, which was so lovely. We played BREAD (our fave card game) and had Carls Jr milkshakes hehe. The sun was going down and it looked gorgeous, so we ended up driving to Tills lookout to see it at a better view.
The girls and I went to Raglan to watch the sunset! We went to Te Toto Gorge lookout and it is freaking beautiful. That was my second time going, and it still took my breath away. This visit, we walked a bit further down and it was nice being able to watch the sun go down with some of my most favorite gals.
Also quick shout out to Tommos because I love this place and think they have the best sausage rolls and creme donuts around hehe.
Then, I had an ice cream date with my sweet friend Carrie and her baby girl Kalena. I'm so grateful for my friendship with Carrie and enjoyed catching up with her about the recent stuff in each of our lives hehe.
Malachi was so kind, and brought me some home made cookies! They were the best! So, the lot of us went for a wee drive, just talking crap haha and enjoying those yummy treats.
My ward had a YSA activity to timezone and Sals pizza for dinner! Was a good turn out, and a good time spent together.

Admired this pretty temple that I can't wait to open back up! It looks so dang pretty at night. Lit up and all.
My fave view!! This is the same view for me almost every day, from work to the View and I'm still not sick of it.
Everyone is obsessed with this cutie boy. He makes the bestest facials and has these big pukana eyes hehe. I love him so so much.
Some of the peeps in the ward spontaneously planned a trip to Rotorua on this one public holiday we had. We went to the luge, ate, and spent some time at this entertainment center which was heaps of fun.
Malachis family has a pet pig hahaha! After quite a while of getting pics of her, and hearing about her, we finally got to meet Koko and she is so cute!
Arihia and I got these cool caps! It was again, very spontaneous but I am obsessed with them now and think I wanna start a collection hehe.
Shout out to hunting and fishing hehe. |
