a GRAND visit to the Grand Canyon!!

 

After about 12-13 years of living in AZ, we finally made it to the Grand Canyon! 

With Sheldyn leaving for her mission, we wanted to take one last family trip. With work and different things keeping us busy, we all settled on Northern AZ and the Grand Canyon, and it was a special time being together. 

We made our first stop to Flagstaff where we stayed the night. We had dinner at an Italian place called Fat Olives. It was a well recommended place and it didn't disappoint.

I can't remember the name of the town but this is where the train station was. It was such a cute town, so we enjoyed our time exploring.

Route 66: 

So if you know me, you know one of my fave ways to get by is by train. 

We took a train from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon and it was such a nice experience. 

Then we made it to, THE GRAND CANYON:

We walked around the area, had lunch, and it was time to head back to the train and board the Grand Canyon Railway. 

Having our 'were heading to Hogwarts for the year' kind of moment lol. 

It was an extra lovely visit because it was well decorated for the Christmas season. So we enjoyed the Christmas trees, lights, etc. 

Grateful for these shadows hehe. Grateful for the opportunity we had to spend time together as a family of five before we all sort of begin to move into those next phases hehe. This was lovely times and I'm grateful for my people.
