April FUN

Hands down, the best part of the month! I got to go home to welcome back Sister Hawea and it was definitely a happy time for this lot of us hehe.

Let's do a wee rewind back to the beginning of this month though!

I don't know if I should admit this haha but it's become a bit of a tradition that after YSA Sunday school, a bunch of us go out to brunch after church haha. It's become one of my favorite things! We just eat good food, and chat for ages and hang out. I'm grateful for those sweet memories with the YSA.

Here's some food pics haha. Arihia and I love on a roll! Then, I didn't get capture it at the best but there's this bakery that sells these chicken kebabs and the yummiest chips, so recently that's been an obsession of mine so I had to add that in here haha.

Then I was off on my trip to the states! It had been the longest year of my life and I was ready to go on a trip back home to see my people.

I made it into LAX and this guy was there to pick me up! We went to this pretty beach town and hung around there until our flight back to AZ.

On the first Sunday of me being there, I got to catch up with my ward family, who I love and missed. We went to the Mesa tempe after and that was so lovely. It had been under construction and it had been done up so beautifully, so it was nice to walk around there on the Sabbath.

After that, we tried this snow town place that Kellyn and mum had been raving about and that was a nice treat to have on such a hot day.

Then, what's a trip back home with no food pics haha. I'm normally so good at taking pics, but I didn't really take much this trip haha. It seems like I have tons of some of the food I got to eat hehe, so here's some of those.

A bit of everything hehe.

Mama and our table of food.
Heart eyes, heart eyes.

"Sharing" dessert.

Flower child.

We shopped till we dropped haha! I hadn't done shopping in ages, so it felt like I caught up with all my shopping that I hadn't done in a year, within just a few days haha. My mum is such a shopper, so I was happy to do that with her while I was visiting. Super spoiled.

Happy to be back with my sissy. Loved spending time with her while I was in town.

I got to go to Utah for a few days while I was in the states to celebrate Alyssas grad from BYU. It was nice spending some time with the Crezees. They're too good to me ha. Here's the one pic I got from my trip there haha.

I got to catch up with my Aunty Jackie! I love her, so I was grateful that I got to see her while I was home. She was working in Tucson, so mum, dad, and I drove out those ways to see her. It was funny, that night Scotty McCreery was performing so we got to listen in and he was tons of fun.

I got to spend heaps of time with these two ladies, who I love so much. It was nice hanging out with them! Eating, talking, all that good stuff.

We also got the chance to drive out to Snowflake to go to the temple out those ways. I had never been, so that was cool to check off my bucket list! There are 6 temples in Arizona and so far I've been to 5 of them. One more to go!

Then, Sister Hawea was home! Again, was such a happy day! It felt like it flew by, and I was excited and so proud of this sister of mine.

In no time, my trip came to an end and I was back in cold and dreary NZ haha. It was nice to be back though and to be able to catch up with the people here that are so kind and take care of me over these ways. Uncle Justin had invited me over to his for dinner and Nanny Charlene had made home made pie! Pictured down below is apple pie with scoops of ice cream hehe, was so yummy.
