Best month of the year

Bday celebrations! The Tehira ladies were so lovely and we went out to celebrate my birthday. Arihia was so sweet and treated me to get my nails done and so we all went out and did that, then went to one of our favorite spots and got some lunch. Was the nicest time out with them.

This is one of my favorite traditions that I get to be apart of haha. The Tehiras always make breakfast on someones birthday. Early in the morning, they get up and make some yummy food before the bday person gets ready for their day out and it's my favorite thing to look forward to and be waked up to hehe. This was my yummy breakfast this year hehe.

Okay had to include this in because I was so spoiled this year! Harmon makes some of my all time favorite cookies, so we had gone over for a games night at his and he had a bunch of cookies boxed up and made for me to enjoy all to my self heheheh. He was too sweet for doing that! 

Kenz got me the most thoughtful gift! She got a collection of things that I love. Alexa and Kara earrings, a headband hehe, my favorite treats. Then, she got a few special people in my life to write me a little happy birthday letter and it was the sweetest thing ever. All I remember was me balling my eyes out as I read through the sweetest letters from my friends. 

Laitin and I drove to Raglan to try and catch the sunset. It was kind of a last minute thing just as I was picking him up that we decided to go and do hehe. It was the prettiest sunset and it was nice to just sit and look at the pretty views. We caught it at the perfect time, then went back towards Hamilton to get dinner together.

Threw a games night one night and it was so fun! So we had board games and group games that we were kinda playing but Tati had offered to teach everyone how to play chair soccer, and boy was that intense. Give any boy a physical sport to play in YSA and they will make it serious haha. I had a fun time but your homegirl fell and hurt her foot so freaking bad, it was a fun way to end the night hehe.

This is the day after at church when I realized that my foot was seriously messed up haha. Like sprained messed up. I had messaged my aunty who's a podiatrist and sent her pics and she bore the bad news haha. So I had to take it seriously and Kenz was a sweetheart and took me to the emergency clinic and waited with me for hours while I got my foot checked. Your girl walked away with a brace to help it, nothing too crazy- thank the heavens.

Pool is our jam.. lol. We only really went because the boys wanted to go, but Kenz and I had a fun time. Love practicing and attempting to get better ha.

Arihia, Laitin, and I all went up to Auckland for this YSA ball they were having. It was such a fun dance. A lot of Hamilton peeps were there so it felt like home haha. It was so fun dancing, hanging out with friends, and having a bit of an excuse to dress up nice for something hehe.

Hine girl. I think I might of gone to McKay ward because I missed my ward, oop. Was so lucky though because I got to see Hine and that was lovely. Kara snapped this cute picture of us hehe.

Laitin and I went on a cute date up in Auckland. I love museums. I had been to the Auckland War Memorial museum before but they had late night visits on Tuesdays and I thought the idea of that was so fun hehe. He drove us up and we went to go and do that. I just wanna mention that I don't think Laitin loves that kinda stuff as much as I do but it was sweet that he took me because he knew it was something I wanted to do hehe. 

We explored the city afterwards. It was kinda wild but we walked all the way up these steep streets to try and see the pink walkway in Auckland. It was a long walk but it was fun to just talk and walk with each other hehe.

Got some yummy gelato at a place called Island Gelato. We had both never been but we were both in the mood for something sweet and gave this place a go. Would defs go again hehe.

Went out to burger fuel with these ladies! This was a nice night out. We had gotten some duck island ice cream after we had dinner which is one of my favorite ways to end the night. We all squeezed in my car and ended up listening to a bunch of music, listening to some of our favorite slow jams and what not hehe. It was cute. 

My two favorites!! Nanny Charlene was so lovely and took Hayley and I out for lunch to on a roll and it was delicious, just look at the platter we got hehe! Afterwards, we went to the grumpy baker and got a donut because Nanny Charlene was swearing by them to be the best and she was not wrong about that. They were delicious, filled me right up haha. 

I can't say exactly when this was taken but Jayda posted it in my birthday shoutout and it freaking killed me haha, so I had to include it in the blog. 

Kenz introduced me to this yummy Japanese place and I'm obsessed. We went a little crazy and ordered a bit of everything and it was all so good hehe.

This idiot hahaha. He showed up to work on one of my breaks and brought me some food from this french bakery that we love and it hit as it always does. I got a quiche, a chocolate croissant, and a range of some other sweet treats. Grateful to him for stopping in on a bad day.

Haina and I went out to lunch to Thai express which was the loveliest. I don't see her heaps but it's always nice when we do get to spend some time together. This was the day where she asked me to be her bridesmaid, it was sweet and I'm excited that I'll get to be apart of her special day.

Went to institute with these two hehe. Laitin and I were holding hands and I look over to my left and Malachi thought it would be cute to hold on to Laitin's other hand hahah. Think homeboy is missing Emma a bit too much, LOL.

One Sunday hehe. My friend captured this cute picture of me and Laitin in church. Thought that was sweet. We went out to winner winner for lunch with some of our friends, oop. Was fun to spend time as a YSA in our own Sunday school ha.

My Aunty Haina and I have the same date of birth hehe. She had a big one the year prior but due to covid we didn't get to celebrate so her kids planned the cutest birthday surprise for her and it was the funnest celebration. Was lovely to see our Rota cousins and hang out with them. 

It was hilarious because my cousins had this walking photo frame and they were going up to everyone there and taking pictures. They got one of Laitin and I, which was fun and cute haha. This was everyones first time meeting Laitin too, so it was extra fun haha but they made him take one on his own and it's the funniest thing of my life.
