Happy days in October
Laitin and me at the Te Toto Gorge in Raglan. One of my favorite lookouts that is close-ish to us.
My two closest friends got engaged! It was the prettiest engagement I've ever been to in my life. The only one, but still haha. It was so special being apart of this day. Em and I picked out new dresses, got our nails done, went out and ate some good food and here we were. Showing up to a surprise engagement that she knew nothing about and it was amazing hehe.
Laitin and I ended up matching and it wasn't even planned, it was so fun hehe. Doc martens and all black fits.
Went out and grabbed burgers straight after those happy times and it was the best way to finish the night.
These are some pics from a week or so before the engagement where we were able to scope out the area where Malachi was gonna get down on his knee and propose to Em hehe.
Seriously so so pretty here! It was so nice to walk around for a bit and try and figure out where everything was gonna go down hehe. It was a bit of a gloomy day but still as pretty as ever.
Fun times for Kara and I because we are now Costco member girlies! and we're pumped about it. Waited in this long as line to get our cards haha, but once we did we were so dang excited to get amongst it all haha. It was busy and packed but it felt like home to us lol. We got yummy food for lunch, left with a pile of good treats, and we have a picture taken by a random stranger to remember the entire day by hehe.
I headed back to Costco with a new group of peeps hehe. Koro had to get a card, so he drove Papa, Jayda, me and baby up so we could get that sorted for him. This was Tutepourangi and I living it up on the way back from our visits at Costco hehe.
There's also these crack up pics from a little after this video was taken when he was hot and tired from the long day that we had hahaha, and they are crack up. Homeboy looked shocked and disgusted by me, I think we were both a bit too delirious after all the partying we did hehe. Love this kid.
Caught up with this lovely lady who I love and adore. We met up and did our laundry together and sat in her car just talking each others ears off about everything we had missed out on in each others lives hehe.
Edee and I had a fat catch up and a nice hang. We went driving, she spilled the tea lol, and ate. Good times with this crack up chick.
Laitin and I stopped to admire the sun set! Right on the mile is where you can see it the best hehe and I love driving along that road and seeing the pretty sky.
Thumbs up to lunch at the chocolate lounge with Dolly girl and new hats from back door. Love me a good waffle with chips and a new cap. My recent obsession lol.
Laitin and I went on a double date with Emma and Mal and we all went out to pool. They're all good, I was kinda just there but I enjoyed it haha.
Dolly and I got to participate in the Hamilton NZ Temple dedication. It was a full on day for the both of us, I was exhausted by the end of it but I loved it. It was lovely to participate in something like it and it's something I'll remember forever. I got to see a lot of family and friends, friends that I hadn't seen in a long time and it was amazing.

This is a picture that Laitin took of the two of us after a YSA Halloween dance that we attended one night hehe. Peep the frozen cokes that we picked up prior, a favorite of ours hehe.
Emma, Malachi, Laitin, and I went on a double date up to Auckland and it was so fun. We went ice skating, went to the arcade, and had dinner together. Was a good time with this lot.

So one night Laitin brought out a whole box of old photos from when he was little and it was so fun flipping through pictures of him when he was younger hehe. He had a bunch of school pictures from when he was in Koromatua and I was looking at one, I saw my name and was like wait what? So I look up, and there I am hahaha. Only a few seats away from Laitin. Have been connected ever since 2006. Made my heart skip hehe. Was the sweetest thing we could have come across.
"Temple View" (oop) put together a YSA De Los Muertos party on the night of Halloween and it was the coolest activity. People dressed up, there was lots of mingling, cool decorations, and was the funnest way to celebrate Halloween. Aunty Gracie came with me and she was a hoot, loved having her there with me.
Laitin and I dressed up as like day of the dead which was fun and was fitting for the theme. He had created and made the skeleton in the picture below, most talented boy that I know hehe. Him and his parents had done such a beautiful job with making the night what it was.
