MARCH

Back with this guy! This was us coming back from dinner at Lonestar with Laitins family for their parents birthdays. It was a lovely night out.

Let's rewind back to when I was in the states though! Some moments from before coming back to New Zealand.

Some of the food I had while being home.. I love that there's so many options and so much yummy food. That's something I miss a lot with being somewhere that has a lot of the same ole things haha. So, I was taking advantage of that while being back hehe.

French Toast from Kneaders.

The yummiest grilled cheese in the world!

Bfast pizza from QT, the best.

Chick fil a chick biscuits- could live off of these.

I went to the temple while being home! It was the loveliest. I love this temple so much.

Mum and I went out and did some shopping. Then, stopped in at shake shack for some lunch! This was a good day out with her.

Mum and I catching the prettiest sunsets in AZ.

This was how I was greeted from Laitin when I got back to NZ. He got me the prettiest flowers, it was the nicest surprise!

😍

Laitin and I went out to this crepe place in the City! I had seen it a few times and was waiting to try it and we finally got to and I had the yummiest nutella banana crepe hehe.

Laitin was lovely and made me some cookies. His cookies are the best! I love them.

APRIL

Laitin and I went on a walk around the View! It was a lovely day out so it felt like the perfect thing to do on a nice and sunny day like this hehe.

Us one Sunday on a zoom meeting that we didn't wanna be on, OOP.

Laitin and I went to the 1975 concert. A band he enjoys. It was a fun time! I love a good concert and it's always so much fun seeing someone live. They were fun and I enjoyed seeing Laitin having fun. He was singing along, and we were dancing along to their songs. Had the funnest night in Auckland!

We stopped and got a treat at the Island gelato company before the concert. I was so excited, because I enjoy this place! They had this peanut butter flavor and it was amazing.

Love notes from Laitin hehe.

Dad and I went to half of the Wicked show haha. It wasn't the best, so we left at intermission but it was fun to be in Auckland together lol.

We went to the Luge! Dad and his team had to planned to go and we went along to spend time with him and it was the bestest time. The Tehiras were there, Laitins brother and his family. It was so nice being able to have fun with some of our favorite people. One of my favorite parts- the buffet hehehehhe.

Views from buffet place.

The gang.

My favorite kiddies.

Had to make sure we stopped at Lady Janes before we went back to Hamilton.

We went back to Tokoroa later that week, where the team was staying. They had a lot of culture things going on, touristy things, and a game versus Tok high and we tried our best to be amongst as much as we could. This was us the night getting into Tokoroa.

We went to Rotorua to stay the night at Laitin's brothers place. We woke up the next day and had a lot of time to do whatever we wanted until the game later that evening, so we took advantage of that and we went to Taupo!

We went to Pauly's diner, that place hits every time! Then, walked over to get Lunas gelato and that's a fave of mine. It was only a few hours if that but Laitin and I really enjoyed our time in Taupo. We got to walk around a bit around the town and are hoping we can come back another time for a longer stay hehe.

We headed back to Tokoroa to catch the rugby game and it was a fun one. Dads team just so happened to beat the local team and it was a big deal. They got a haka to congratulate them, then had a really lovely reward ceremony after with dinner and it was lovely to see American kids be apart of Kiwi culture.

Dad and I.

Laitin and Elleanna.

Prettiest sunset at the end of the game.

Best Island donuts.

The next day before heading back to Hamilton, Laitin and I went back to the buffet with Selena and Malik. It was the best. They're great company and we had the best time, eating some of the best food.
